Artists and followers of independent contemporary art will unite as one team again, as last year’s successful fundraising campaign brings the Under500 festival back for its sixth edition! This year, we welcome you to Artus Studio on June 14–15 for a festival program dedicated to experimental work that pushes boundaries of all sorts.
U500 strives to create an open, safe space where emerging and established artists receive equal attention and where all participants share the same ambition: to keep our community alive. Underfunding is also making it increasingly difficult to make the U500 festival a reality. Of course, such challenges are neither new nor unique in the independent scene, which is why this year’s edition also serves as a statement: despite financial obstacles, we are still here, fighting tooth and nail for visibility. This festival is entirely made by us and by you—to sustain our community and keep it thriving. The 2025 edition Will place special emphasis on teamwork, so join us and celebrate the spirit of this diverse community together!
From its inception, U500 has been a breeding ground for experimentation, allowing performing artists to try something new without external pressure. This year’s program will highlight contemporary dance and performance, while also featuring work-in-progress showings, completed performances, interactive workshops, pop-up events, music performances, and visual art installations—continuing the festival’s tradition of artistic exploration.

A Szentpétervári Balett Társulat valamint a Bolsoj Színház művészeivel autentikus előadásban indul országos turnéra Csajkovszkij Diótörője. A zenei élményről a Budapesti Filharmóniai Társaság Zenekara gondoskodik Somogyi-Tóth Dániel karmester irányításával. Az előadás - mely a 130 éves baletthagyományokra épül - egyszerre ünnepi, friss és magával ragadó, gyerekeknek és felnőtteknek egyaránt felejthetetlen élményt ígér.
